About Women of Impact Awards

Honouring Women Who Make a Difference

The Women of Impact Awards which are presented in celebration of the annual International Women's Day recognise women who, through sustained effort, have done extraordinary work to shape the future of their industries and their communities at large. These women are motivating others around them, breaking the glass ceiling and paving their own paths—all while lifting up others around them and setting the example for the next generation of female leaders to be more and do more. Our Woman of Impact is a modern-day hero, game changer, mover and shaker and leads with courage, confidence, commitment, and purposefulness.

Objectives

Here are briefs on each of the objectives of the Women of Impact Awards

Recognize Deserving Women

The Women of Impact Awards aim to acknowledge and honour outstanding women who have made significant contributions to their industries, communities, and society. By recognizing these deserving women, we hope to:
  • Amplify their achievements and inspire others to follow in their footsteps
  • Provide a platform for them to share their stories and experiences
  • Celebrate their hard work, dedication, and perseverance

Inspire Future Generations

The Women of Impact Awards strive to inspire and motivate future generations of women to pursue their passions and make a positive impact. By showcasing the achievements of remarkable women, we aim to:

  • Encourage young women to dream big and aim high
  • Provide role models and mentors who can guide and support them
  • Foster a sense of community and connection among women from diverse backgrounds

Foster a Culture of Empowerment

The Women of Impact Awards seek to promote a culture of empowerment, where women are valued, respected, and supported. By celebrating the achievements of women, we hope to:

Criteria

The ideal candidate will have.

Demonstrated a lifelong commitment to making a difference

Achieved significant milestones and accomplishments throughout her career

Inspired and mentored others, leaving a lasting legacy

Shown remarkable resilience, perseverance, and determination

Embodied the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness

Award Presentation

The Lifetime Achievement Award

Will be presented at the Women of Impact Awards ceremony, where the recipient will be honoured with a commemorative trophy and a special tribute

Selection Process

After an extensive nomination by a diverse range of industry stakeholders, rigorous vetting and merit-based evelaution of the motivations by the Evoke Impact Team and specially selected Adjudicating Board, the top 50 women who stand out as distinguished professional women whose credentials are extraordinary and of great influenceand motivation to others are selected and announced. We strive to ensure a diverse and inclusive nomination process, seeking input from a broad pool of stakeholders. Our final list showcases a fair representation of trailblazing women from various geographic, and industry backgrounds.
